Yesterday morning started the The fashion week in Paris, appointment number one internationally, and today I bring you first pictures of the parade this morning by Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga, presenting its proposals for the autumn-winter 2009 / 2010.
Great, magnificent and true to itself, Ghesquiere offers us once again an extreme show and monothematic (the drapes in all its versions are the common thread), but as always, brilliant, in advance, and half way between Futurism and a tribute to the great classics (read: Yves Saint Laurent, and the same Cristóbal Balenciaga, founder of the firm).
Only he is able to create looks based on woven fabrics of silk, elaborate, heavy and bombastic, and avoid the obvious.
It seems that also the hallmark of Nicholas have become the shoulder dress armed like this in marble of various colours: black and yellow, blue and green water or gray.
As well as in version wrap-dress.
Pants have anyway a niche in the universe of Nicolas, pupil of Roitfeld, and apart from the type harem seen above, those of combined stripes mode “Ghesquière” (i.e., less conventionally possible).
And attention, because the minimum lace tops are the new hit of the legendary maison.
